"Vintage memories or vintage showpiece
Through this photo collage I have tried to depict how a thing of the past has merely become a discarded entity. It could be our senior citizens who are just at home and are given no importance unless it is to show to the society or during a special occasion where their presence is mandatory. Yet the irony is that the old (vintage) helped up to create some beautiful memories through the objects now that we discard. I chose the scooter as a symbolic object as every now and then in many places I have seen such vintage scooters just lying around and not cared for. They were a sense of pride for our grand parents during their generation. And probably our parents had the opportunity to sit on one of them for a ride with their parents. But now it is unkempt uncared for and discarded."
